Rain, Rain, Come Again!
Personally I love nothing more than hearing the rain at night on a metal roof but one sound I can't stomach is the splatter of over flowing or rusted through gutters.
The water restrictions may be on the verge of relaxing but that doesn't mean we can relax around the home. Apart from all of the obvious benefits, word is that in the near future all houses sold in Victoria will require an Energy Efficiency Certificate (EEC) based on the ACT model. If so you'll be required to produce an EEC upon selling your home and it will be rated from 0 - 6 stars with the higher number of stars the better.
The investment you'll make with new gutters, tanks, double glazing, insulation, solar energy and hot water will be an investment for the planet, instant financial savings and a great sales tool for the resale of your home.
