Art Windows

Product Range

Our window and door systems achieve a 5 star energy rating as per Window Energy Rating Scheme (WERS). We can offer two full colours, white and ivory (beige). Full colours meaning, one colour all the way through the extrusion, not just laminated on top. We can also offer a range of laminations, please contact us for an up to date colour chart.

Tilt and turn windows
These are the most common windows in Europe, they provide a full opening like a casement and also a tilt function for ventilation, they provide a multi-point locking seal, hence are very good for security and thermal insulation.

Sliding Windows
A good option for rooms with confined space or above the kitchen sink.

Awning Windows
These windows have winders, due to the fact that they open out, they are also convenient for confined spaces.

French Doors
All of our French doors have multi-point locking hardware ie, they lock in many places, hence they provide very good security. We can also provide French doors which have a tilt option just like our tilt & turn windows, these are perfect for balconies in master bedrooms.

Sliding doors
Our sliding doors are all equipped with multi-locking hardware which locks in four points, we also provide single sash, or double sash openings.

Bi-fold doors
These are available in many different combinations, we can make these from 3 up to 8 panels wide, perfect for parties.

Tilt & Slide doors
These are a combination of a sliding door with a tilt & turn window. These doors also provide multi-point locking hardware, a 5 star energy seal and are very secure. These doors are capable of a very wide opening.

Garden windows
Garden windows can be made with any type of combination of opening, whether it be awning or tilt & turn.

Bay windows
We can provide bay windows at any angle with any amount of joins necessary, also any type of window or door can be incorporated into the window.

We manufacture our windows out of Kommerling profiles. Our PVC profiles are imported only from Germany, not China or Turkey, like most of our competitors. Our profiles are outstanding quality and have by far surpassed all necessary compliance testing for Australian standards.

Benefits of PVC Windows

1. Weather resistance
Our window and door systems are designed to withstand various kinds of weather conditions, ultraviolet rays, and rapidly changing weather. Our window and door systems can withstand temperatures of up to 82C without any defects. This means that long term hot weather conditions will not affect the windows structure, ie. They won't break or deteriorate in quality throughout the whole lifetime of the windows. *Tested by IFT: Institute for Window Technology, Rosenheim, Germany

2. Energy Saving: Double Glazing PVC Windows
According to a recent survey almost 40% of household energy is generally lost through windows and doors, therefore proper selection of windows and glass will enormously cut down this energy loss. As can be seen from the U-Values in the graph, our PVC windows perform 3 times better in energy saving than aluminium frames, they also outperform wooden frames.

3. Sound reduction
Our windows and doors can reduce noise disturbances from outside down to one eighth of the original noise level. This level of sound reduction is achieved due to multiple chambers within our PVC profile fitted with the correct combination of double glass. The sound reduction has been measured for a tilt & turn window 42dB. * Tested by IFT: Institute for Window Technology, Rosenheim, Germany

4. Corrosion & Water resistance
Our windows and doors are heat welded together at the joins, so the PVC is melted together into one single structure, therefore water is unable to pass through the welded structure as is possible in aluminium window joints. There is also two layers of rubber gasket seals, this double seal will ensure no leakage will occur. Our rubber gaskets are produced from the same rubber used to seal windscreens in the automobile industry, so you can be assured that they will do their job efficiently. Humid weather and beach areas with a plentiful amount of salt in the air will have no effect on PVC windows they won't corrode.

5. 100% Maintenance free
Traditional building materials for windows and doors such as wood, requires constant painting and surface treatment. Wood will change shape over the years and requires re-adjustment of the window. Aluminium will oxidize over the years, at seaside areas usually within a year. Our PVC profiles do not require any maintenance over the full service life, you will never need to sand and paint your windows again.

6. Fire proofing
Another very important aspect to consider due to Australia's bushfire prone environment. All of our profiles have been tested and proven to be 100% self extinguishing, meaning that if excessive heat is applied to the window frame the PVC will not fuel the fire like wood does.

7. Security and Safety
Our windows are fitted with state of the art multi-point locking hardware, this means that the window/door locks all around the opening in up to 12 spots (depending on the size of the opening). Multi-point locking systems along with a wide range of toughened safety glass solutions will keep the burglars out. Lockable handles are available to make the windows child safe, and to offer piece of mind.

8. Environmentally friendly
PVC profiles are 100% recyclable, so there is no lost material as all waste goes back into the recycling process.
